Selecting categories does not work

  • We are having a similar issue. Select a category, then done, then save page, when you re-open the widget the category selection is not highlighted, so it probably was not saved.

    Printing what the plugin returns is an empty array. Hardcoding it to null shows all posts, as it should, but it should not be an empty array.

    Hi, sorry for late reply.
    I was found the issue, it return empty array because this plugin uses tag__in and category__in parameter. I don’t know what causing the issue, I have contacted the SiteOrigin Panels plugin but I haven’t heard anything from him.

    7 months later and I’m having the same problem….

    I am seeing the same bug in the Recent Posts Widget Extended.
