Selection of FontAwesome icons fails
-
I still encounter an issue with the icon picker when editing menus. In the “Menu Icons Settings” I selected all three options FontAwesome Brand, FontAwesome Regular and FontAwesome Solid. All other options are deselected. I performed an upgrade from FontAwesome v. 4 to 5, which was provided by Elementor last year.
Now, when I assign an icon to a menu item, the dialog loads fine and the icons of the first icon set (FontAwesome Brand) are shown correctly. When I now switch to another font set, e.g. FontAwesome Regular, an error occurs and no icons are loaded. The collection remains empty.
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot convert undefined or null to object at g.cleanup (backbone.min.js?ver=1.4.0:1) at g.off (backbone.min.js?ver=1.4.0:1) at r (backbone.min.js?ver=1.4.0:1) at l (backbone.min.js?ver=1.4.0:1) at h.Collection.n.off (backbone.min.js?ver=1.4.0:1) at i.<computed> [as off] (media-views.min.js?ver=5.3.2:1) at i.dispose (media-views.min.js?ver=5.3.2:1) at i.dispose (media-views.min.js?ver=5.3.2:1) at i.remove (media-views.min.js?ver=5.3.2:1) at load-scripts.php?c=0...upload&ver=5.3.2:81
Now I can switch back and forth between the icon sets and sometimes they load, sometimes they don’t. I’m not entirely sure what happens, but it seems like there still is a bug. All my themes and plug-ins are up-to-date.
