I created my product categories in woocommerce, sorted in alphabetical order. Great! I installed this plugin and it shows my product categories, sorted in alphabetical order. Great!

However, now that I have added three extra product categories, the Selection Type of Category Settings is not updating to the right alphabetical order. Instead it puts the three new product categories to the top of the list of product categories

I would like the Selection Type of Category Settings to update with the three new product categories, sorted alphabetically. How do I fix this?

FYI, the Products Categories within Woocommerce is already sorted alphabetically, after I added the three extra product categories

If I go the custom selection type and try to choose the categories in the alphabetical that I would like, upon selecting the three new product categories, this plugin will still put them to the top of the list of product categories, which is not in alphabetical order.

    Dear @han2thajo,
I have followed your footsteps and made a slider like you. I tried with the custom category selection and added one new category. The last category did appear in alphabetical order. Note that I have added the Bee category right after I created the slider. There is parent children relationship but still, the sliders are appearing in alphabetical order. The cache can be an issue for you. Apart from that, the options “order by” and “order” has some conflict. It can be responsible for the twisted output. Selecting “Term Name” from the order by field should do the job for you. Hope you will find your fix in this answer. In case the problem remains, please share us a screenshot of your “Category Settings” section.

As you can see from my product categories of WooCommerce, I have subcategories within parent categories.

In the WP WooCommerce Category Slider, I want to display all categories as per my product categories of my WooComerce. ie. parent category, sub category, sub category, parent category, sub category, sub category and so on.
However, as you can see from my “Category Settings“, it is displaying all the categories in alphabetical order, regardless of the parent and sub category order.

    How do I fix this?

    Dear @han2thajo,
There is no fix for this issue. It is not possible as the sorting is applied globally. You have to stick with the alphabetical order. Thank you.
