Self Contained Backup?

    Hey. I think the answer is YES, but wanted to double check. You can use Duplicator as a self contained backup/migration, correct? For example, it doesn’t need the “copied” site to be live/active to have access to download things like assets.

    That is correct, everything you need is stored in the archive.zip file, even a backup copy of the installer in case you lose the original. Keep in mind however that if you filter out certain data from an archive that data will not be available.
