Self-pinging

Self-pinging?

I refer to older post of mine in an new post.
I got an email saying I had been pinged on that earlier entry by me.
Just seems odd…

That’s expected and desired behaviour.

Fair enough ??

I’ve done that a couple of times. It allows the user in the old pinged post to see the new post that refers to it. ^ Blatant whorish explanation of what allusion just said. In simple terms.
