Self Theme did not convert to .org from .com

  • I transferred my site from .com to .org and the Sela theme does not work properly whatsoever i.e. sharing buttons, blog posts, video content etc. And yes I know the Jetpack works with the .com version which is what I had before, but I am not with www.ads-software.com. A user noticed that the theme still states it is being used with wordpress.com and not www.ads-software.com, and that is why the site is not working properly. I’ve tried to get help for two months now. Can you please let me know what I should do? Thank You

    And now neither the Lifestyle or Webseries pages will even show up on the mobile edition of my site.

    If you’re positive that all your images are in the same month/year folders as they were on your WordPress.com site, you can now use the plugin I mentioned above in step 5 to do a search-and-replace on your image paths to modify any old references to your WordPress.com site.

    So this path:

    https://toliveanddateinladotco.files.wordpress.com/

    would be changed to your new image path:

    https://toliveanddateinla.co/wp-content/uploads/

    Be sure your site backup is current before you run the plugin, so you can revert it back to an older version in case anything goes wrong.

    If you’re not comfortable doing this yourself, you may want to hire someone to help you, since changing file paths directly in your database can be tricky. Good luck!

    Turning the plugin back on made the problem reoccur so I had to turn it back off. Now none of the links for my videos will post in social media through sharing.

    Ex: 1) click share to twitter/G+/Pinterest etc under my webseries episode: the video does not post to any site

    If you add a featured image to the post it should be picked up when sharing on social media. Right now the post has no featured image and no image within the post.

    If you want to better control what image gets served to social media when a post is shared, I’d suggest you use a plugin for that.

    If you’re referring to the sharing functionality itself not working as expected, I’d again suggest you get in touch with Jetpack support, as that’s not something within the theme itself, but a Jetpack feature.
