SELinux Boolean for Image/Media Upload/Insert

  • I’m running SELinux on Fedora. When I disabled SELinux, I’m able to upload/insert images, music, media into the wp-content/uploads directory with no problem from the add new post area in the dashboard. When SELinux IS enabled, I receive:

    “image.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/html/cafe/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/10.

    Does anyone know what selinux boolean I need to enable to fix this? Thanks!

  • Congrats for being proactive about securing your server! Your problem may be due to ownership.
