I have looked and looked and looked and just can’t seem to find a shop cart plugin that lets me sell digital downloads, but that lets the user log back in at ANY time and re-download the file.

I’ve seen these in the joomla world tied to “subscription” systems, but they weren’t tied to some sort of membership level, they simply sold you a subscription to that file, and in some cases, it never expired.

I sell themes for Apple’s keynote software, and users seem to lose their stuff all the time. Having a system where they can log back in at any time and re-download the file would be great.

    Any ideas?

eShop? Allows you to set a download limit, so you could make that fairly high.

This is probably what I’ll have to do, but it seems weird that I can’t find anything like this for wordpress. I buy a lot of Joomla plugins, and nearly all of them offer a way to go back and download the file later, sometimes they never expire.

For anyone searching, I may have found a solution to this… eStore and eMembership together. Seems you can allow users to be in multiple memberships, so if I put the files for each product in a different membership level, people can buy into each of them and access the files in the ones they paid for.

It’s built into our WordPress eCommerce plugin, MarketPress.

I should note though that it’s a premium plugin… however, we *are* working on a Lite version soon that we can upload here for free.
