    You can manually specify a new product attribute that will then show up as an option for customers, and even create your own license. Many of our users have done this – when they get an order, they manually forward the request to a third party.

    However, to automate sending the file and print order to a third party would require custom work. This likely won’t be able to be bundled with Symbiostock as determining the syntax of sending requests to third parties, as well as whether or not to include such large files (and sending such large files via email) may all introduce new technical issues that would be difficult to diagnose on a server by server basis.

    However, it is a good idea and I will look into adding more options to the ‘licenses’ so they may be expandable in this regard.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for speedy response once again.

    So, at present you cannot create a Symbiostock ‘License’ that allows a non downloadable product variation that could be a physical order yet? … This has to be added manually inside the individual ‘product’ — Is this correct?

    Also on a similar vein, in the front end is there a way to set a default licence option for all products, rather than having the ‘Chose an option’ as the first option.

    (IE when the customer visits the ‘product’, there is already a license selected rather than a chose option notice)

    FYI, we’ve now launched our support system here:

    I can’t guarantee that all the things you need changed will be do-able through it, as it is meant to provide basically minor customizations (changing the way the built in WordPress search works, for example, is quite intricate), however you may be able to submit different requests for different tasks.

    Regarding the stuff you’ve mentioned in this thread and the other one, we are considering when and if to add such things in future releases, but can make no guarantee as to when or if they will be added. If you definitely want certain tasks done as a priority for your specific site, the support system is the best way to go.
