    Hello,
I would like to sell a virtual product (in this case it is one specific page of the website).
    a) How do I link the two (woocommerce product to the web page)?
    b) How does a client automatically get access to that page after checkout?

    Any solutions?
    Thanks

PS: what I really want to do is:
A client comes, browses through the shop
    selects a product
makes payment through woocommerce checkout page
and then, bang, he reaches the specific page of the website which is his product. He gets to read the content of the page.
This page otherwise is hidden and is accessible to those who have paid for it.

Ideally, the client pays and the checkout changes his user profile to a special one.

@joieeninde12 To restrict access of specific content on your website, I’d recommend the WooCommerce Memberships extension. Using that plugin you can create membership plans, which grant access to specific content on your website.

A customer can be granted access to a membership plan through the purchase of a product, which sounds like the workflow you’d like to create here.

You can read more about the extension in the link above, or in the WooCommerce Memberships Documentation.

    Hello,

Yes, I have finally used restrictions to give access to specific users.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I have pretty much done the same thing to give access to specific pages but I’m looking to see if we can send the user an email with the link of the content he now have access.

Like: Hello, you have purchase a subscription and it give you access to the following “post link”.

Possible to add an email template for a subscription that give access to a post?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I have succeeded in doing what I intented to do:
->I have put restrictions on the page which is now accessible to a new customised user role lets say Role A, (plugin used: Ultimate Member)
->by defult customer buys a product and hence has an automatic role of “subscriber”
with the help of a plugin, my customer’s role automaticallly changes to A immediately on the purchase of the product. (plugin used: YITH Automatic Role Changer)
->Now the customer may check either the restricted page or the woocommerce “my account page” to access it.

    Enjoy,
