Had a client with a SEO company who could not get SEMrush to crawl the site.

Here is how we temporarily allowed access to SEMrush:

    1. Login to WP
    2. Go to WP Security in the left Dashboard
    3. Go to Firewall then the Internet Bots tab
    4. Uncheck “Block Fake Googlebots”
    5. Click the Save Internet Bot Settings button
    6. When finished with SEMrush report, reverse the procedure so the Block Fake Googlebots item is checked and hit the Save Internet Bot Settings button

    Hope this helps someone else.

Hi, thank you for providing those steps.

I am just curious about something. Did you try using a different global variable located under Settings -> Advanced Settings tab?

I am interesting to know if it is a global variable causing this issue or not.

    Thank you
