Slowly coming along … but new hurdles to climb. I made the decision to have one WP account setup with user name and password. All people in the special group visitors are supposed to to use the same login account credentials and book courses in HLR. The different bookings should differentiate between themselves by name and email adress.

Is this how it works: #_EMAIL is populated from the WP account email field? And when sending a confirmation email, the #_EMAIL gives its value to #_RESPEMAIL which is used in the To: field.

Is it possible to collect a second email adress (the person’s own, not the WP account email) in a custom field in the form and use that for the To field of the confirmation mail to the respondent?

Custom emails are possible, but the confirmation mail will always be sent to the primary email. Now, it is true that some fields are populated with the known wp info, but that doesn’t mean they can’t change it. If you make the event private, it means people need to be logged in. If you *don’t* require WP membership for the event, then it is possible to clear the fields and type your own info.
It has been bothering me if these fields really should be populated or not in case wp membership is not required, but it is user-friendly to do so (your case being the exception here).

    Um, *sigh*, I guess.
