Send custom notification to client

    I’ve recently purchased Sprout Invoices Pro and converted from WP-Invoice. Everything seems to have converted over nicely, and I’ve been able to get any other small things changed as well. However, there was one function in WP-Invoice which I can’t see with Sprout Invoices which is the sending of custom notifications to clients. We used a custom message to send a client a notification that the files we prepared for them are ready in our distribution system, and it was nice being able to do so directly in the invoice as we could track that these were being completed and sent. Am I missing something within Sprout Invoices or is this something that can be added in?

    I’m really glad to hear that you’ve migrated from WP-Invoice, I think you’ll really enjoy Sprout Invoices.

    What it sounds like you would want to do is use the admin_note shortcode within your notification and add the messaging to that Note field.

    If you wanted something completely custom this is possible with some additional development.
