Send email on post UPDATE, not just new posts

    Is is possible to send an automated email to subscribers not just when a new post is published but also when an existing post is updated?

    I create posts that get additional info added as it becomes available. I want to let the subscribers know when something new has been added. Do I have to create a new post every time?

    I searched every way I could think of including those exact words and got nothing useful. Thanks for the link. It works but seems to me it should be an obvious option instead of a convoluted work-around. Perhaps a future enhancement?

    Put the post in draft and then re-publish it. It will trigger emails.

    It works but seems to me it should be an obvious option instead of a convoluted work-around. Perhaps a future enhancement?
