Send email only with specific category from custom post type

    I have created a custom post type with some categories.
    Now I want to send an email for each new post on this custom post type with the category ?blog?.

    I can choose the ?blog? category in the settings of the post notifications. But it doesnt work for cpt – only for the original posts of WordPress.

    Is there a way to fix this issue? ??
