    What does the ‘Send Email Preview’ in the Templates section actually do.

    Also, can I use {TITLE} in the subject line so that the blog title appears here?

    Thanks

  • @josejimenez,

    ‘Send Email Preview’ sends an email notification of the most recent post to the email address of the currently logged in user so you can see what emails will look like for real new blog posts.

    {TITLE} can be used in the subject line but only for per-post notifications.

    Hi and thanks for the super speedy response!!

    Just to clarify, the ‘Send Email Preview’ sends an email notification to me and me only if I am the logged in user in the WP dashboard. Correct?

    Regarding {TITLE} can you clarify what you mean here? What Im looking to do is to send the title of any new blog posts to subscribers so they can see it in their inbox. Will it do this?

    @josejimenez,

    Just to clarify

    … – correct.

    Regarding {TITLE} can you clarify what you mean here?

    Subscribe2 has 2 types of email notification that can be used, you configure to use one type or the other. Per-post notifications send immediately after you post new content. Digest notifications are sent periodically at an interval you define and include all new content made up to the time of sending. So, if you are using the first email type {TITLE} will work, if you are using digest, it won’t (because there coould be more than 1 title).
