Send emails only to topic participants?

    This seems very basic but I cannot seem to figure it out. I apologize if it is a seemingly ridiculous question or if it has been answered elsewhere on the forum. I would like for emails only to be sent to the people actually participating in a particular post. I just don’t see the option. I don’t want all of the participants to receive email notifications about every single post, only the ones that they are participating in. Notifying the admin is ok but every new post and response generates an email to every participant. Can I limit it somehow? Thanks.

    Hello,

    This plugin was originally built to notify admins only of new posts. This was before bbPress 2.5 when they added Subscriptions to the bbPress core. Over time, people asked that I add the ability to notify roles other than admins. It does not currently function as a subscription service, though. The closest you can get is to allow your users to opt-out via a premium add-on.

    I’m curious – does the Subscription service included with bbPress 2.5+ not work well? Where is it lacking?
