Send Failed

  • Hi there,

    I am presently having an issue with the form returning “Submit failed” when trying to submit. From looking in console, I can see that admin-ajax.php is returning a 403 error when the form is trying to send.

    Would it please be possible to assist with this? Otherwise, great plugin!

    Hi,

    the plugin provides the option for troubleshooting. With that function, you can test mail function. If your wp doesn’t send mails with it you need to config you smtp mail.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for your reply. SMTP is configured correctly, and the test mail is received. However, the form is still returning a “submit failed” message.

    Take care that you filled out the form settings correct. Tab settings at the form page.

If you have filled out everything correctly and the submit is still not working, we will be happy to check your form on our test installation. You need to send the JSON export to the mondula office email.

    Hi there,

    Just to follow up on this, and in case it’s useful for anyone else – The script was being blocked by mod_security/Imunify360 by the web hosting provider. Please see below:

    “IM360 WAF: XSS vulnerability in Multi Step Form plugin through 1.2.5 for WordPress (CVE-2018-14430)”

    Did you modified the plugin?

    We sanitize the fields so no XSS will be possible.

    Please update to the current version which is 1.7.6

    FYI, we are already using 1.7.6 – Presume it’s still blocking due to a legacy issue in 1.2.5 on any hosts using Imunify360?

    We send an report to get rid of this message, the entry is old and the problem solved in the 1,2,5 Version of the plugin.
