Send IPv6 for events

  • Hello recently the error “Send IPv6 for____events” has started showing up in the event manager, are you guys planning to Change IPv4 addresses to IPv6 and send them to Conversions API? it says doing so would increase the event quality

    It’s just a recommendation, not all users have ipv6 IPs. I recommend you watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsXBg_i1Hpc

    Hello. Sure, it’s a kind of warning, a bit of a false alarm, but if Meta is heading in this direction, don’t you think it’s worth considering and maybe getting ahead of it? Indeed, the issue remains that many websites don’t have IPv6 enabled, but on your side, I don’t think it’s a significant implementation effort.

    It’s not that websites don’t have it, some websites visitors don’t have it. Their internet providers simply don’t use it yet.
