Send notification to another database (insert data into another database?)

    Hi,

    I currently run an e-commerce where the products are online training courses…

    The courses are purchased and after checkout, they receive an automatic email that contains the details for them to login into our environment and to then take their course.

    In between this there is an exchanged of information between pay and our own database. Once our database recieves an IPN, we then release the course (hence the automatic emails)

    During the transaction process can woocommerce contact an other database to insert the customer details..perform similar to above..

    I’m guessing the use of an API etc..
