    It seems that private posts do not generate email notifications even if you have a campaign and template created for a group. Is there a way to change that behavior? I have a closed site that has a smaller group within it who are able to see private pages and posts, but when I post something as private, nothing shows up in the email queue.

    Irosdahl,

    Is your template set up for ‘broadcast’ or is it set up as ‘post notification’? If set up for “broadcast” that may be the reason it isn’t working. It is located under ‘Select your Email Template Type’ when you generate a new template.

    Sorry for the delay.

    Yes, I do have it set as “Post Notification.” When I post something publicly, for that group, it sends it no problem, but when the post is marked “Private” it is not sent (nor is it added to the queue in the Reports menu under Email Subscribers.
