Send password directly without setup link

    Hello
    I’m interesting in your plugin
    and would like to purchase also extension
    but before that: I need to know if there is an option
    of sending the password already in the email for new registration by role
    (that is my case)
    The only tag I see for user registration is: {user_password_setup_link}
    please let me know if it’s possible to include the password already chosen
    and skip the password setup link

    Hi @hamergil

    it’s not possible and I highly recommend not doing it. Sending a password in plain text is a serious security breach. You should leave the password setup for your users so they are the only one person who knows it.

    I Appreciate your answer.
    I need something very specific
    I need users with specific roles to be able to get their
    user and password and enter specific page.
    I guess it’s not possible.

    Undestrood. I suggest using a WordPress’ page password protection or creating another password system – different from the user password. That would be the right way of doing this, although I think you are going to need a custom solution.
