“Send review reminder now” doesn’t work

Can you please share some screenshots of the plugin settings page Reviews > Settings > Review Reminder tab?

You can also test the deliverability of your emails with this service:?https://www.mail-tester.com. It will generate a unique email address for you. You should then send a test email from our plugin settings?to that address and check the “score” of your email. Please let me know the score and share the link to the results page.

Otherwise using https://www.mail-tester.com when create an Woocommerce order with a test mail it receives a score of 1.2/10 (which is bad I know), but I don’t want to post it here publicly because it contains sensitive info.

When using the Send reminder now or when testing an email in Reviews > Settings > Emails -> Review Reminder -> Send Test – email is not received by the test email – similarly to when using a real gmail account.

If you use the option Verified Reviews: No Verification in our plugin settings Reviews > Settings > Review Reminder tab, that means the review form is hosted locally on your site and our plugin uses the WordPress function wp_mail() to send the email. So it is possible that the email service on your hosting is not configured correctly to send the email. You can try to contact your hosting support to ask to resolve this issue.
Or use the plugin WP Mail SMTP to configure the mail service on your site https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

Or switch the Verified Reviews option to Independently Verified to send the email via our server and recheck this issue.

By the time waiting for your reply I did my research and realised what you’re saying on my own, so installed WP Mail SMTP and integrated Sendinblue service. Now it seems the reminders are sent and our mail score increased from 1.2 to 7.2.

By the way I thought that Verified Reviews -> Independently verified option is available only on the Pro version and didn’t even try. So, is it available with the Free version of the plugin?
