Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere… I’ve tried editing baw-login-logout-menu/inc/frontend-noajax.inc.php and functions.php, but I am a bit confused getting this to work.

I am using the shortcode [loginout] to display a Log In/Out text link. Rather than going to wp-login, I would like the Log in link to go to a custom login page (/member-login/) and the Log Out redirect to stay on the current page. How do I go about this? Thank you!

  • I too am having this issue – I do not want to use wp-login.php. Instead, I want to use my ‘partners-login’ page. I see there are many questions similar to this, but they all seem to answer in terms of using the ‘redirect’, which is NOT what I want. I want the login to go to my custom login page, not be ‘redirected’ to it after logging in thru the wordpress default login (wp-login). I tried to change the frontend-noajax file using a post from a year ago, but I think that file has changed and the post isn’t pertinent anymore.
Please help! This is a great, great plugin, but I just need to point to another login page.

    thank you.

One more thing – I would like to be able to direct ot custom login from either the menu item (#bawloginout#) or via shortcode.
    thanks

    Hey,
I have just been trying to do this as well and I think I have found it, go to appearance -> menu and then select the applicable one on the custom drop down on the menu, (login or logout), then enter the URL you want to use… Seemed to work for me…

Happy Monkey – I thank you; I guess it was ‘obvious’, but not from the documentation…
Thanks much; that works for me too.

Thanks everyone for getting this thread started. I encountered the same issue. Did anyone else’s menu item stop switching from Login to Logout and just stay at Login|Logout after setting the custom URL? It was working fine before, but once I entered the URL to my custom login page, it began only showing the titles as “Login|Logout” for when I was both signed in or out. Is there anyway to get the plugin to redirect to my custom login page AND do the switch between the login / logout links on the menu?
