I bought a new webhotel/email address and installed the plugin “Easy WP SMTP”, where I configured the new email information. Unfortunately there is still an error in the email tab of the contact form, see attached screenshot. But when I send an email, the new sender email is shown – so it works even though there is an error – should I ignore the error or?

hi @sheilanana

if you are using a plugin that sends mails with an smtp server you can ignore this warning. This is because in any case the mail will be sent from a different server than the one that is hosting your site, but this server will have the authority to send mail for that domain.
