    Woo suddenly started sending out multiple email notifications for tracking number. We had issue with latest version of Woo not working with inventory management Teapplix – using REST – and had to roll back Woo to 8.9.3 from 9.0.1. Could this be a database upgrade issue? Here is system report:

    Hello @astreetweb have you checked to make sure that your emails that you want disabled in Woo are actually disabled? Sometimes I see them enabled after updates. Check that first.

    If you that’s not what you mean, exactly which emails are being sent multiple times?
    Is this happening with every order?
    When did it start? Was when you rolled back the Woo version?

    Please note we strongly recommend having the latest version of WooCommerce to avoid possible issues. 9.0.1 is already outdated, as the current version is 9.1.2.
    Please reach out to the plugin to try sorting the issue you encountered and update Woo ??

    I also see your database is outdated. This can cause a lot of issues on the website.

    Please update it by either following the warning message a the top of the page on WooCommerce area of the dashboard or going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update Database.

    Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

    We are using remote application called TeApplix. It was working great until installed Woo update to 9.0.1. Then it would not connect.

    It connects via REST api. We have legacy REST api installed and enabled. In order to get TeApplix to connect again, I rolled woo back to version 8.9.3. Then it connected again. However, we now have this issue where the shipping tracking numbers notification is being sent multiple times. This started happening after I rolled back woo and got TeApplix to connect again.

    I installed WP Mail Logging. It looks like the multiple emails are being sent when order status changes from processing to completed.

    I would appreciate any suggestions on where to look to resolve this problem.

    Hi @astreetweb

    We are using remote application called TeApplix. It was working great until installed Woo update to 9.0.1. Then it would not connect.

    It seems like TeApplix may not be compatible with the latest WooCommerce API. However, it does seem to function smoothly with the Legacy REST API. To confirm this, you could try updating your WooCommerce to the latest version again. After that, install the Legacy REST API plugin and activate it by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Legacy API.

    I installed WP Mail Logging. It looks like the multiple emails are being sent when order status changes from processing to completed.

    It’s possible that the rollback of WooCommerce to version 8.9.3 might have caused some inconsistencies in your settings. Can you please disable all plugins except WooCommerce, then head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear
    • Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
    • Clear customer sessions -Clear
    • Product lookup tables – Regenerate
    • Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate
    • Update database – Update
    • Verify base database tables – Verify

    Next, please clear your browser cache and then test again?
