    Hi everyone,

I am looking for help in order to send emails in different languages.
Example : send a confirmation email after subscribing to a site’s newsletter, using a Sendinblue form on the website. This confirmation email must be written in either French or English depending from which version of the website the form was submitted.

I thought of creating a translated version of everything, one for each language : 2 contact lists, 2 email templates, 2 forms (loaded conditionally on the website). However, while this solution works for 2 languages, it does not seem very convenient and much less scalable to more languages.

Is this the only possible solution, or is there an alternative ?

NB : By the way, I could not find anything related to internationalization on the Sendinblue website, expect a blog article written by a freelance which does not mention any technical solution.

    Hi @purritz ,

Thank you for contacting the Sendinblue Customer Care team!

You can use a contact attribute condition to send a template depending if a contact meets a certain condition. So for example, on your form, you can ask which Language they would like to receive communications in. You can add a LANGUAGE attribute on this page of your account: https://my.sendinblue.com/lists/add-attributes

Then, there would only be one workflow: the entry point is contact submits form, next step is an if/else condition where if the contact attribute for LANGUAGE is English for example, you send out the English workflow. If it is not English you can add more conditions if they meet other contact attributes to trigger different emails for different languages.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Sendinblue Customer Care

Thank you. I will try that and let you know.

By the way, you should put this way of handling internationalization somewhere on your website, this is useful info.
