    Hi,

    I am having an issue with emails sending from my website. It never used to be an issue (or at least I hadn’t noticed recently) until I wanted to reset a user’s password who has admin access and the email just wasn’t coming through.

    Deleted the account and re-added it again, still no email coming through about the account being created. Tried signing into the wp-admin portal with the new admin account but it doesn’t recognise the login details.

    Googled the issue and people spoke about setting up smtp on the website which is already in place. I am using WP Mail SMTP and have the API key set up plus the sending domain. I am using Brevo on it. Even the test email will not arrive.

    I just have no idea what else I can do to fix the issue. I’d like to reiterate, that this used to work with no problems.

    Sounds to me more like a problem with WP Mail SMTP, which you seem to have already configured. I would therefore recommend that you contact their support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wp-mail-smtp/

    I see that you are using Brevo, did you make sure your Brevo account is still active?

    Brevo deletes account if no one logs in every now and then (I think it is like 1 month or 2 months).

    If your Brevo account is active, you should receive the test email when you are testing via the WP SMTP plugin..

    Yes, my Brevo account is active as I logged into it last night. But the test email never comes through.
