Sending emails through Amazon SES keeps shutting itself OFF

Hello developer – can you reply to this question?

We implemented the plugin into production last week and it toggled the “Sending emails through … ” switch off again, so our mail did not send as expected.

I’m having this issue too. This was working for me for weeks and now I turn the plugin on and then reload the page and it’s off again :/

Same here… Looks like I’ll be switching to something else.

I found a similar posting in this forum from a year ago, https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/what-causes-the-working-plugin-to-stop-and-needing-to-be-re-activated/. Sylvain Deaure recommends “Check your other plugins file for “pluggable.php” string, you’ll find the culprit and could advice it’s author to correct his code.”

Same problem here, when updating plugins, it auto turns off.
Luckily the author was smart to show a notice when WP SES is off.

But weird that this message was closed without reply:

Hi,
I resolved my problem using the most cliche way in the IT world. I rebooted the EC2 server (i.e. I turned it off and on again).
Sometimes AWS has faults and errors, you can see those notifications on your AWS console. Those errors are affecting the server the website is running on.
