• Our daily newsletter (461 subscribers) usually would finish sending in 10 minutes. Today’s newsletter has been extremely slow. It started sending at 10:20AM (New York/Toronto) Time and it is now down to the last 6 subscribers (6:12PM Toronto Time). Almost 8 hours now. Any reason for the slowness? It is related to Mailpoet or Amazon SES?

  • having the same issue, 800 subscribers, sending with my own provider, 60 hours now and counting

We are having the same problem. We have 7,000 subscribers and in 5 hours only sent to 155, hope Mailpoet fixes this. It has been going since last week. We also use SendGrid for the mail processing.

*** I solved it temporarily downgrading the mailpoet plugin to version 4.41.3 using WP Rollback plugin.

Now it works again, but obviously it is a temporary solution.

The plugin release this morning does FK-ALL! 4.42.1 ??

You will loose the ability to checkout the statistics and it will nag the shit out of you to update but IGNORE it and turn off the auto update feature for now.

I suspect Mailpoet is intentionally slow down for non-paying customers or anyone not using its own mailserver (forcing you to pay). If it IS so, then this company could not be trusted and it is time to look for alternatives.

    ? Not paying ? NOT!

This issue is happening with everyone!

And if not? like you said.. (qdhd99) Mailpoet needs to be removed, banned from WP & sanctioned!

*Finding foolish reasons NOT to support their product is just plain stupid!

Quite frankly I suspect the clown running Mailpoet (yes only one person owns and codes the program.. not a company..) needs to stop snorting Adderall like a certain public figure!

@guygella – I am evaluating Mailerlite. It seems to be a company that could be trusted. Not sure about the features yet.
