Sending “New”-notification for Updated posts (PODS)

Hello.
When updating a custom post type created using Pods (pods.io), the “New Post”-notification is sent instead of the “Post Updated”-notification”.
This seems to be the same issue as reported with ACF two years ago, here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/new-custom-post-type-notification-sending-emails-on-update-not-just-published/page/2/
You fixed if for ACF back then, could you please do the same for Pods?
