sending referrers

  • I just installed 2.0 and went to turn on the auto register, but it gives me the ‘must turn on sending referrers’ statement.

    I followed the directions for IE 6, but it still gives me the same error. Thoughts?

    And FYI, this ‘feature’ is not supported or documented to work with Safari on my mac.

    I just did. Same problem. I see in another post that someone decided that the firewall must be the problem.
    I’ll try that next.

    Not very happy with my first WP install.

    Ah, that’s what it was. Something to do with my firewall here at work. I used remote desktop to another machine and ran the browser from there. Worked fine.
