• WP has just been installed and is working.
Yet, when I try to a) delete an existing post or
    b) edit the Links section, I get this message:
“Sorry, you need to enable sending referrers, for this feature to work.”
I’ was referred to this page (for assistance):
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Enable_Sending_Referrers
No offense, should the page owner read this, but the instructions simply are 1) confusing/inaccurate 2) outright wrong.
The instruction lead you to the Privacy tab in IE6, and then it references buttons that are NOT any to be found on that tab
(or the Security tab); such “Allow”.
The Firefox instructions are non helpful, because typing about.config into the address bar does NOT get the result it describes.
Can someone point out an easier way to address this Send Referrers issue. (I’ve already adjust the Norton Internet Secruity matter.)

  • The Firefox instructions tell you to type about:config (with a colon) and not about.config.

I typed in about:config, and found the line that the instructions referenced. The value was set at 2, as it should be; but still I can not delete the entry from my blog.
    Any insights/suggestions?

I’d be willing to bet that it’s a bug in FF PR1.0

I have the save problem. Can someone give clear instructions on how to fix it, please?
