Sending Service / Reporting of Failure

I signed up for the free sending service and sent a test email. One subscriber was intentionally set to an bad email address ([email protected]). If I do this using my host to send, I get “failure notice.”
Will I eventually get something (on my webmater’s email account?)The docs say that bounce will automatically get cleaned up. After how many successive bounces? Will I know it has happened without looking for un-subcribed users?
