Hi @nath10,
I am using the Mailpoet as my sending service. Maybe this can help.
I paused sending newsletters for a while back. Within the time, I made an update to my server’s php version. WordPress got affected, but I later resolved it. That was in 2023.
At the beginning of this year, I resumed sending newsletters and, on my first attempt, this is the issue I’m facing.
It turns out my task scheduler connection is unsuccessful and the error message shows
“stream_socket_client(): SSL: Success stream_socket_client(): Failed to enable crypto stream_socket_client(): Unable to connect to ssl://viewknust.com:443 (Unknown error)“
Thanks for the additional details and context. Could you please disable the MailPoet extension, enable it back and ensure the extension is setup afresh. Do check if you still see these socket errors. If the issue persists it’s possible your web host/security plugin might be blocking these connection to our servers. Do check if anything is blocking these connections.
If the issue persists, we will need some system information to help further.
Can you please send us the following information:
- A screenshot of the MailPoet > Help > System Status page. Please ensure to capture the whole page or make several screenshots.
- Copy and paste the information from MailPoet > Help > System Info.
Feel free to send these as an email (for security reasons) to us via our support form at the form here. Don’t forget to link to this forum thread.
Do keep us posted on how the recommended suggestion works out for you.
