Sending two emails for one notification

Do you use any plugin which adds custom fields? It’s a known issue that 3rd party plugins loop over the save action causing the Notification to double.

I am using “simple membership” plugin.

Hmm, is the Notification doubled even if you don’t edit anything, just hit the “Update” button?

I just tested that by pressing the update without any change and yes, still sending out two emails.

Hi, any ideas on why it would send two emails?

This must be a 3rd party plugin conflict. I’ll be resolving these issues when I publish the next major version of the plugin.
