Send/Submit button color

I tried this standard method but it doesn’t seem to be working for me…

Your css is setting the background to white, just set the text colour to black or something.

but the text on my homepage has to be white due to the black background… or is it possible to set only the “submit” text to black?

You must add

.wpcf7 input.wpcf7-submit {
background: #fff;
color: #000;
}
