Senses Lite Banner height adjustment

Hi,
I really like the Senses Lite theme, and have already uploaded a lot of content and played around with customising. How ever, I find the banner box way too big, as when clicking through menu buttons, one can’t actually see anything changing, unless scrolling quite far down in order to start reading the content.
Is there any way to adjust the size of this banner box? I have tried by resizing images and uploading different image sizes. I like using the full width but it’s just way too high and takes over such a large part of the screen.

I’ve also tried the “widget visibility” function, but no luck. The widget does not show under “Available widgets” to drag into the Banner widget for customising when the banner should show and when not.
I’ve tried with like 5 different ‘display widgets’ plugins, and none of them are showing in the widget menu allthough in settings they appear as “Activated”

any help would be greatly appreciated !
