• Hi,

I tried now for hours to find out, why the famous Nextgen Gallery plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/nextgen-gallery/) does not upload images (upload stops at 0%).

I checked out all advices from Nextgen, changed to Twentyfourteen Theme, deactivated all plugins, and activated them one by one.

    The result:
when only Sentinote plugin AND NextgenGallery plugin is active, then images are not uploaded to gallerys created with NextgenGallery.
When I de-activate Sentinote plugin, then the images are correctly uploaded to NextgenGallery’s galleries.

Normal WP uploads are working – it’s just an incompatibility between those plugins – so sad.

Any fix or idea, because I’d really like to use both plugins?

    Thanks.

I have now looked into my server error log and discovered strange things concerning the problem mentioned above:

when as only active plugins “Sentinote” and “NextgenGallery” (each newest version with WP 4.0 – but the problem was also with WP 3.9.2), you try to upload a simple JPG to a gallery created with NextgenGallery, then no images are uploaded.

    The server error log:

You see, that there is a very strange path from a plugin “layered-popups”, that is NOT active at this site, trying to upload images that has nothing to do with the images I try to upload for NextGen from my harddisk.

As soon as I disable the Sentinote plugin, then the image upload from my computer to my NextGen galleries are working fine without any error.

Seems that Sentinote grabs there a path I don’t know where from and messes the upload of NextGen completely.

    UPDATE:

Why does Sentinote want to “lead back” to I don’t know what, when I upload a NextGen image to a NextGen gallery?????

    Any idea or fix please?
    Thank you!
