    this plugin is in conflict to the a new sentry plugin. The error message from your plugin is:

    Sentry\Exception\FatalErrorException: Compile Error: Declaration of Inpsyde\Zettle\Logging\Logger\WooCommerceLogger::log($level, $message, array $context = []) must be compatible with Psr\Log\LoggerTrait::log($level, Stringable|string $message, array $context = []): void File “/wp-content/plugins/zettle-pos-integration/modules/zettle-logging/src/Logger/WooCommerceLogger.php”, line 51 public function log($level, $message, array $context = [])

    Can you please fix this?

    Hello @yfain,

    Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

    Can you please let me know what plugin (link) it is that our plugin is causing this conflict with? Is this the plugin that is causing an issue with our Zettle plugin for you? Please confirm what version you are using, if so. Once we have this information, we can try to reproduce the issue ourselves and see if our developers can create a fix for this.

    Pending your response.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello @yfain,

    I have found other bugs for different plugins that use the same logger functionality. They encountered a similar issue, so I have opened a request to looking into this and updating the logger.

    I have linked this ticket to this support thread, so you should get updated once the fix has been finished and is ready for release.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello @yfain,

    We discussed this with our team and found that this issue is pretty complex and not might take a bit longer to resolved.
    There are various potential solutions to this error, each with its pros/cons. For now, the only solution to avoid the conflict between the plugins would be to stay on PHP 7.4. I currently don’t see us providing another short-term fix.

    Since this issue also effects other plugins we develop and support, we hope that we can find a common solution for all plugins affected, in the next few months, but we can’t really confirm/promise anything.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
