    Hello,

For the past few days, I am seeing an intermittent problem where Yoast is reporting that the “text contains 0 words”: https://imgur.com/a/Vy4I4Zz

On this page, about 2,168 words are present.

Yoast also reports that there is “not enough content” in the readability tab: https://imgur.com/a/5eH1YS0

These two issues are found across all pages of the website.

Is this a recent known issue? How do we fix this problem?

    Thanks for help.

    Hello @icemanau

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. It seems you are using Fusin/Avada builder on that page. Yoast SEO analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL, the main content box (WordPress editor). If you are adding your content through other plugin or theme content boxes (as most page builders do), Yoast SEO may not be able to detect it by default. Currently, we are compatible with the Elementor page builder. The?Yoast SEO Elementor integration?is free to use for everyone; no premium or add-on is required for core functionality.

Although our plugin does not detect your content and shows an incorrect analysis report, this does not affect how search engines crawl and analyze your site. Search engines process the front end of your site and will detect your content.

    Hi @maybellyne

We have built this website using Avada Fusion builder over 7 years ago and have been using Yoast SEO plugin since then. We did not have this issue before. Seems the latest update to Yoast plugin has caused this issue.

Would Yoast technical team look into this matter and release a fix? Please do let me know.

It would be far quicker and cheaper for us to use a different SEO plugin which works with Avada than to migrate our website to Elementor.

    Hi @icemanau

There is a workaround you can follow. This will allow you to use the Yoast SEO analysis and keep using the page builder.

You can create a draft post without using the page builder and copy the content section from the frontend of your site into the default editor. The Yoast analysis will run on the draft’s copy of the content so you can review and change the content in both editors. Once you’ve optimized the content, you can discard the draft copy.

    Hi @611shabnam

Before I would consider this workaround, I would look for an alternative plugin which could work with Avada.

As I mentioned before, the Yoast plugin used to work well with Avada but the latest update caused this issue. If Yoast is not going to support the Avada theme then it would be better to switch to a plugin that does.

    Thanks.
