The post I am sharing has the keyword appear in the URL and the snippet title as well as in the description. But Rank Math reports that post as:

There are 1 Post published posts where the primary focus keyword does not appear in the post title.

I would like to know the reason for this inaccurate reporting.

    Thank you.

    Hello @acekin,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

That test looks for the focus keyword in the post title, not the SEO title. The post title of the affected post is “Fifth Anniversary of Our Loss Binnaz Melin”. You will have to include your focus keyword in it to pass the test.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

But, as I said, the keyword does appear in all places that can be classified as “the title.” That’s why I asked the question. What title do you mean exactly? It is visible on top of the post, it is in the URL, and in other places that may be considered “title.” Please look at the source code, any meta tag that has “title” in it has the keyword. If I am overlooking a title field, please let me know. That’s the real reason for my question. The keyword is “binnaz melin” by the way.

    Hello @acekin,

The post title is the name of your post that you enter in the title field of the post editor. Since your post title has the focus keyword, please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math SEO > Status & Tools > Database Tools and use the “Clear SEO Analysis Data” and “Remove Rank Math Transients” tools. After that, run the SEO Analyzer again, and the issue should be resolved.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Thank you for a possible fix but that did not change anything. It still reports the same. On the same database tools page, I clicked on the other buttons to clear or reset them, they also did not eliminate the error message. Any other suggestions?

This problem has not been resolved, so I changed that status. I guess I will have to learn to live with it. It was mainly a curiosity question for me as I do not see much difference between a score of 95% and 100%. But, the question I posed and the problem I reported is still there.

    Hello @acekin,

The post title is the one appearing on your WordPress dashboard posts list view. Here’s a screenshot for your reference: https://i.rankmath.com/i/vYqsoD

Also, please note that the focus keywords should have the exact match in the post title to pass this test.

    Hope that helps.

You don’t seem to read the title of the post I provided, so I am pasting a copy of it below:

Fifth Anniversary of Our Loss Binnaz?Melin

And, the keyword is: binnaz melin

The only thing that does not match is the upper or lower case letters which is the same in all my posts. Just in case you do not pay enough attention to them, I made them in bold type above. You can also look at the source of the post I provided, they are all there.

If you also don’t know why this is happening, please say so rather than giving me screen captures of the obvious.

    Hello @acekin,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

In that case, please ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math plugin. If not yet, please do update them. You may refer to our changelog page here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

Then, head over to your Database tools again and clear the transients and the SEO Analyzer data. Re-run the SEO Analyzer again and check.

If the issue persists, this is something we need to investigate closely by following this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Note that only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.

I followed your instructions with the DB tools, that did not help. I installed the Health Check plugin and clicked on the Troubleshooting tab and my site went down! I get the following message:

    The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to https://www.keptlight.com.

    • This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Using FTP access, I deleted the Health Check plugin folder. That did not help Then I renamed the WP FastestCache plugin folder to remove the caching. That did not help either. Currently my site IS DOWN. I need urgent help.

UPDATE: I restarted the browser and I can access my site. I don’t want to create a potential failure of the site because one post is reporting a false error.

I have read the content at the link, I have gone through all the steps before. I am not sure how to provide more information after I log in to RM forums. I think I will live with it even if the matter remains unresolved.

Thank you, but the system pushes me away. I am logged in as you can see in this screen capture:

When I go to the page to submit a ticket, it tells me I have to be logged in to open a ticket.

Thank you for trying to help me, but it is probably easier for all of us if I forget this problem.
