SEO and readability score

Thanks for using Yoast SEO plugin, and sorry for the delay in response. I’m sorry that you experience a discrepancy in the pages’ SEO and Readability analysis scores, and I can understand the confusion.

Since you’re adding content with Elementor, we recommend viewing the Yoast SEO content analysis within Elementor to get the correct reflection of the scores, as it might appear differently when using the block editor. There’s a bug report for our product team to improve this. Due to a large number of issues, we have to focus on issues that are breaking the plugin. rs. Since this issue is not, we probably cannot fix this short term.

We do agree that this is something that should be addressed and therefore was added to our backlog. This means that it is on our radar: we have been able to confirm the bug and therefore have the intention of fixing this. Unfortunately, due to capacity, we cannot give you an estimate on when this issue will be addressed.

We always encourage our users to contribute to our plugin, not just by submitting issues but also by submitting patches. If you (or someone else) decide(s) to write a patch for this issue, we’ll gladly include it after some code review.

I fully understand that this issue does not have top priority.
However, I have been posting about the incongruency of Yoast and Elementor about 3 years ago. Not much seems to have changed since.

Elementor is one of the most used pagebuilders out there. Without wanting to question the Yoast strategy, one would think that there is some importance to get Yoast and Elementor working together.
