SEO And WordPress

  • Hello,

    I have a question about wordpress and SEO.
    I have an e-commerce website in computers and notebooks Laptop kopen, its a Dutch e-commerce website so not relevant for foreign country’s.

    There are a lot of wordpress websites out there that provide the possibility to submit links and websites, a new form of linkpages.

    My question is, why do wordpress websites in this form have such great effect on your position in Google when you submit your site to one?

    Anyone who claims they can submit your site FOR YOU is probably scamming you.

    Just make your site and submit them to google etc yourself.

    No thats not what I mean, I’ll show you the webpage where i submitted it to.

    This SEO guy has build a wordpress website: https://arjansamson.nl/directory/ Where you can submit your website.

    When I submitted my website to his wordpress site, I instantly ranked up dozens of positions in Google within the same day. So the effect is greater than submitting your site to a normal linkpage (same pr).

    Why is that? Why does a wordpress linksite have a better effect on your website position than a normal linksite?
