SEO by Yoast Plugin. Meta

    Hi,

    I have just started using the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin.

    I’ve written a couple of pages but the Meta Descriptions I’ve written are not being picked up in Google’s search results. Instead, Google it just taking copy from within the body of the post.

    Any ideas?

    If you’ve just started uisng it, there’s a good chance that Google is either not using the meta data (most likely as even they say that it’s outdated now), or that it will jsut need more time for yur site to be fully re-indexed and get the new text in there. If you need more help then that you’ll have to ask Google as they are the only ones that have control over what’s shown in their search resultspages.
