I made a few changes to the Advanced SEO customize menu, however none of the changes seem to take place when I do a google search for my site. I mainly tried changing how the titles appear and no matter what changes I make within the Advanced SEO or the Settings > General, none of the effects take place? Please advise.

    Thanks!

Search engines don’t reflect website changes instantly. Sites are periodically recrawled, at which point SEO modifications (hopefully) become visible.

One thing you can do to speed things up, with Google at least, is to take control of your website listing using Google Webmaster Tools. Once you’ve done so, use the Fetch as Google function and submit the results to the index. You can only do this a limited number of times per month, but this is one of the scenarios where it is useful to use that function.

Thank you Cyril. I will ave to try that. But, i wish there was a preview button of sorts so that I can see what the changes would look like before committing and waiting weeks/months before google makes its updates and changes show up only find out it’s not what I wanted! ugh. ??
