SEO Content and Traffic

Since switching from Blogger my traffic has dwindled to almost NOTHING. I’ve downloaded and SEO Content helper and it’s barely improved. I’ve tagged, meta tagged, tagged my best imagery. I have no idea what H1, H2 etc tags are. How can I change my SEO to improve my traffic?
