SEO data does not update

    I have a problem with updating SEO data. I have a WordPress with Divi Builder and WooCommerce (on many other web projects this has not been a problem so far). There I have created some products and added the information like title and description to them using Yoast SEO.

    Unfortunately, I have some (older) products where the SEO data is simply not updated – already for weeks not. In the backend the correct information (title and description) is in there, but in the frontend still the wrong data. Yesterday I added 4 new products, there are the correct SEO data output and I can also change them without problems – only with the older products nothing works.

    Why?

    Please share the URLs of those products where the data is not updated. Also, provide us with screenshots that highlight the corresponding data you have entered into the Yoast SEO plugin. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

    Also, the images can be deleted once we are done working together to resolve the issue.

    Thanks for the details. We compared the title and description to what’s being generated by Yoast SEO in the page source and we found that only the title didn’t match your settings.

    To see if it solves the problem we’d like you to update to the latest version of Yoast SEO (16.6.1) and then try the following steps to reindex the SEO data on your site:

    1. Install and activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
    3. Click the “Reset indexables and migrations” button
    4. Go to SEO -> Tools and under “Optimize SEO Data” click the “Start SEO data optimization” button.

    For sites with more than 10,000 posts, we’d advise using the WP CLI command to do the indexation on the server instead of going to SEO > Tools. You can read more about this here: WP CLI – Reindex Indexables command

    Does the incorrect title still appear?

    @megatroenchen Thanks for your reply and providing the images.

    If you clear your cache (server, plugin/theme, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider.

    I have already cleared the cache in all possible ways and tried finally @priscillamc instructions and what can I say… it worked. Exactly as she wrote.
