SEO doesn’t recognize content created with Visual Composer

Same problem here, but only for the images. It’s a known issue as I recall. It always says that there are no images on the page.. Google does see the image though.

While Yoast SEO is able to detect content from Visual Composer page builder plugin, we have some issues currently open in our GitHub repository here related to the Visual Composer. Please, make sure that you’re not experiencing any of the issues listed in our GitHub repository.

I see in 1 conversation that the Problem of the single image in VC, yoast doesn’t see the alt tag. This comment is a year ago and the issue is still open. Isnt anyone working on this? Should we Just wait/accept it?

Thanks for your email. If an issue is currently open in our GitHub repository, this means it will be surely looked by our development team. However, there are more pressing issues which affect more users and have a higher priority for our developers at the moment. This doesn’t mean your issue won’t be resolved. It means that your issue is in a queue and takes longer before our developers have the time to investigate the issue.

I notice an issue with the Custom Heading shortcode from VC, SEO doesn’t recognize the content, and that’s a big shame. (very useful shortcode) However if I use a Text block and include a h2, and add a focus word all works fine. On this page https://themedutch.nl/webshop-laten-maken-roermond/ for example I’m using Custom Heading and text blocks as I’m running some test at the moment.

I hope in the near future the Custom Heading shortcode from VC will be supported.
