    Hello everyone,

I did some research online and SEO Framework was mentioned by many as a favorable plugin to use. The only negative comment found regarding SEO Framework was that it might not be as suitable for e-commerce websites as it doesn’t have some of the features that other SEO plugins have in particular for e-commerce. Since things change and some of the reviews I read weren’t the most recent ones, I was wondering if things might have changed and what your opinion is on using this plugin for an e-commerce website heavily relying on pictures and less text (current database has 5000 pics and the number is growing). I also read that in these circumstances some users have added their own code, but that is not an option for me since I am not a coder unfortunately. Much appreciate your insights, thank you in advance!

PS: I was currently also looking into Slim SEO and SEO Press (after deciding that Yoast and RankMath aren’t for me), but SEO Framework seemed like the best based on reviews, if it weren’t for this e-commerce problem.

One follow-up question: Is there a Woocommerce SEO add-on included (either in free or paid version)? Thanks!

    Hello!

TSF has supported WooCommerce out of the box since 2015. Our premium features support it as well, when applicable. I have no idea why anyone would claim otherwise. I guess we do not shout about it as loudly as others do.

SEO is more about text than images; text can be extracted quickly, while images must be parsed to categorize them for legal reasons and NSFW content. You may wish to rethink that strategy. SEO plugins can not improve the readability of images, only reachability.

There’s no need to apply code to the plugin. However, we try to be as flexible as possible for developers; perhaps this was emphasized somewhere.

Lastly, perhaps ironically, TSF is faster than Slim SEO, even while doing more and being more established.

Thank you Sybre for the quick reply, I will check it out on my site!

Greetings, Sybre. I am in the process of switching to SEO Framework on a site with Woocommerce, and wonder if you have advice about whether to add it while Yoast is still running? We haven’t really used Yoast much but now that we’re making other improvements we want to focus on improving our use of SEO tools as well, and have read very good reviews of SEO Framework. Thanks, Karen.

    Hi @karenchristenze,

    Welcome to the forums!

Please open a new topic so we won’t bother other users with “new reply” emails: https://tsf.fyi/support/tsf/new-topic.

I’ll gladly answer any questions you may have.

To answer your first question already, running two SEO plugins simultaneously is generally not advised. You can learn how to migrate from Yoast SEO to TSF here: https://tsf.fyi/docs/migrate.
